Our main wedding venue room has been imaginatively redesigned and refurbished to create a stylish and stunning venue for weddings. The Kings Room is our most popular wedding venue because of its flexibility to be combined with either our Beach Club or Oak Lounge.
This fabulous wedding venue room has a state-of-the-art lighting system. This allows us to bathe the Kings Room in a beautiful array of colours. We can compliment the chosen colour theme of the bride’s party and wedding breakfast if required. This creates a truly unique experience and bespoke setting.
Our starlit tented Beach Club adjoins the Kings Room. This provides a delightfully romantic backdrop and chic ‘chill-out’ area for the wedding party and their guests.

The Oak Lounge is not as big as our Kings Room and slightly smaller than our trendy and glamorous Beach Club. This beautiful event space is a fantastic alternative for those couples seeking something a little more intimate. Magnificent chandeliers hang within this beautiful and adaptable Victorian space.
With its double height ceiling, ornate cornicing, floor to ceiling windows, it overlooks our beautiful Epping Forest. It’s all finished off with beautiful mirrors and original wall-mounted lighting.
The Oak Lounge retains an air of sophistication and is a wonderful room for both civil ceremonies and wedding breakfasts. Its position within the Kings Oak allows for great flexibility when planning your special day. It adjoins the Kings Room and our Gastro Bar, giving your guests the option to use either before or after the ceremony should this be what you desire.

Capacity ranges from 30 to 200 guests. Be sure to check out all of our venues.
If a civil ceremony is not what you are looking for, the convenience of the beautiful and historic Church of the Holy Innocents lays just a ¼ of a mile away.

We Can Offer Venue Only Basis
Our wedding planning team are happy to discuss the Kings Oak Hotel being hired out on a venue-only basis.
We appreciate that certain specific cultural requirements are sometimes best left to the wedding party themselves.
However, we will always provide the support of our wedding planners to assist in the big day.
Jewish, Greek and Asian cultures may well find this arrangement better suited to their plans.
We should, however, point out that our kitchen team have a very broad experience of all of these cuisines.

We have the capability of offering menus to suit all tastes and all budgets.
